Next Child progress

Thanks to everyone's input in class, I've made a few improvements to "Next Child," so if you have a second, please check it out and let me know what you think! (Especially about the new header) Also, I've e-mailed Donna about this, but if anyone else can help, I'm trying to find out how to shorten the post clips that my blog showed, like we talked about in class. I know it involves code, but I wasn't sure what... Thank you!

I really like the header. Your presentation was great yesterday- I could tell you're extremely interested in this topic.

While I was all for the dandelion, I dig the gecko too--in fact the text shows up far better here, without nearly as much change in text color. Nice work.

Love the header picture! It really catches my eye, makes me wonder what the lizard is crawling out of, if it's related to a crocodile, whether we have any around here ... lots of questions generated by one picture.

Looks like you figured out the shortened posts and I like how that looks as well.

Congrats on a great-looking blog!

Now that you have the 'Read More' parts the blog looks really good!
I also really like the header, neat picture! And Juanita, you know the saying...a picture is worth a thousand words.

I hate these word verification things, why do they have to make them so damn illegible?
